Getting IEPs and 504 Plans for High Achievers:

Winter 2022 Workshop Series

by: Miriam A. Nunberg, Esq. Education Rights Advising + Advocacy

Learn the legal argument for getting your school to support your child with learning and attentional needs despite high grades.

Did you know that some students with high grades can get support for learning, attentional or emotional differences at school? A reminder about my new workshop to explain the legal standard for obtaining IEPs and 504 plans for high achievers. It is possible if you understand the law!

This training is suitable for parents and professionals. The content will be based on two articles she wrote about this issue: one about 504 plans and the other about IEPs, both of which spell out how to argue for obtaining school and testing accommodations even when students are doing well in school.

The workshop will take place online, Thursday, Mar 17, 2022 at 6:30 PM. Tickets available here. One-to-one advocacy strategy consults available as well.

If you would prefer a lunchtime workshop, please email her at [email protected] and she will schedule one once we have enough interest.

I hope you will join us in this workshop!
