Boot Camp

Social City is hosting a social skills Boot Camp March 18^th-22^nd(9am – 1pm) on the Upper West Side (2504 Broadway) and March 25^th-29^th(9am – 1pm) in Brooklyn (163 Pacific St.) for 3-7 years old. Students are grouped according to age.

Social Skills Group Classes: Spring Enrollment is Now Open!

Social City provides social skills group classes tailored for students of all levels and abilities. The program organizes students based on age, grade, language skills, and social-emotional functioning. Prior to enrollment, a two-part consultation involves a parent/caregiver phone call and a Zoom meeting with the child to assess their interests and communication skills.

Social City offers three types of group classes:

• Social Skills: For ages 3-12 and 13-18, focusing on social, communication, and relationship skills. Teen groups also cover life and executive functioning skills through trips.
• Social Skills with Additional Language Support: Students who need extra support in expressive, receptive, and pragmatic language.
• Social Skills with Additional Self-Regulation Support: Students requiring additional assistance with self-regulation, impulse control, and emotional management (ages 3-12).

The program emphasizes collaboration with families and the child’s team for effective skill generalization.

Summer Program: Where Fun Meets Learning

Social City’s summer program is specially curated for children aged 3-9. It’s a perfect blend of enjoyable activities and social-emotional skill development, facilitated by certified speech and language therapists and professionals adept in pragmatic language and social-emotional learning.

Language & Play Skills Classes

Conveniently located in the Upper East Side and Brooklyn, these classes cater to 2 and 3-year-olds and their caregivers. The program focuses on enhancing your toddler’s language and play skills, easing their transition into classroom settings. Each class promises a blend of fun, learning, and a tips sheet for ongoing development at home.

Fridays: 3:45 pm to 4:35 pm, March 8 – April 19 – 7 class semester. Sign up for the 7-class semester by Feb. 26 to receive the first class free!
