With a focus on emotions, nonverbal communication, social skills, perspective-taking, and collaborative problem-solving, Show and Spell offers a unique and engaging experience for two to eight players.

Key Features of Show and Spell

This innovative game consists of 3 games promoting social-emotional learning, each catering to important aspects of child development. The games can be played remotely, providing flexibility for various settings. To enhance the experience, Show and Spell suggests scaffolding and game modifications, allowing parents, counselors, therapists, and educators to tailor each game to meet specific objectives.

Components of Each Unit

Show and Spell units include the following components:

  • Three double-sided instruction pages (one for each game)
  • Five image-based decks of cards (a total of 222 cards)
  • Three tokens
  • Three sand-timers (30-seconds; 60-seconds; 120-seconds)
  • One six-sided dice
