FREE Tutoring For Dyslexic Children in NYC
Free NYC Dyslexia Tutoring
The Children’s Dyslexia Centers offer two extraordinary services at the same time – first, they provide free supervised training for adults (coursework and a tutoring practicum) in the Orton Gillingham tutoring methodology, accredited through IMSLEC, and second, they offer free one-on-one Orton Gillingham method tutoring sessions to qualified children. Now a Center is opening here in NYC where we have an extraordinary demand for high-quality free NYC dyslexia tutoring.

At this time, the new Center is accepting applications from families interested in learning whether their children are qualified candidates for this service. The Center is looking for students who are experiencing difficulty acquiring reading and spelling skills that would benefit from structured language instruction.
Parents must have records of academic and ability testing performed by a school psychologist or another qualified professional within the last three years. Students must be between grades 1-12 – the program is not open to Kindergarten students.
